When to use it
Typical jobs: turning a WebP file a designer sent you into a JPG that an older CMS or a print shop will accept, converting a PNG screenshot into a smaller JPG for an email, or producing WebP versions of product photos so your web pages load faster. Because the conversion runs inside your browser, it is also the right choice for images you would rather not upload to a third-party service, such as ID scans or unreleased product shots.
Good to know
